Key upcoming dates
11-18 June - Early voting. Please campaign for your favorite Republican candidates at the following early voting locations; Mechanicsville Fire Dept, Hollywood Fire Dept, Bay District Fire Dept (Lexington Park).
23 June - Election Day. Please campaign for your favorite Republican candidates at a polling place near you.
29 July - Our next Republican Club meeting will be on 29 July at 6pm at Sandgates Inn. We will be selecting our next Republican Club officers (President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. Plus, we will have a special guest speaker on an issue that affects all of us. TBA

Background:
Maryland law requires boards of election to strive to achieve “parity” in election judge coverage. Thus, all of us need to work very hard to get every possible person to sign-up to be a PAID election judge. Sign-up at www.republicanpollworkers.com/maryland (Central Committee members cannot be election judges.)
The State Board of Elections (SBE) has a new parity reporting requirement, which shuts down the election judge recruiting by late March (even though our primary isn’t until June!)
Maryland is a pilot state for the RNC’s pilot program for recruiting election judges ~ one of only 4 states in America! By sending every single Republican election judge to www.republicanpollworkers.com/maryland, each volunteer’s application will automatically go to the Maryland GOP, the SBE, and the local board of election. We can then know how many Republicans have signed up and assist in following up to ensure placement. We will provide this list to each County Chair & EI point person.
