Maryland lawmakers unveil $25 minimum wage plan as debate picks up
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (7News) — Maryland lawmakers and labor groups gathered Tuesday at Lawyers Mall to launch the Maryland Living Wage for All campaign — a legislative effort to gradually raise the state’s minimum wage to $25 an hour and eliminate all sub-minimum wages, including for tipped workers.
